Urban Green Space and Environmental Justice

Conducted in Atlanta, Georgia this research has two primary objectives: 1) to conduct a city-wide survey of Atlanta residents’ perceptions of both the benefits and costs of urban environmental services (i.e., green spaces and proposed green spaces) and threats (i.e., emissions and industrial sites); and 2) to assess the environmental services provided by the urban forests using an I-tree Eco analysis of Atlanta’s urban forests.
