Freshman Orientation (EDU 151-152) is a two-semester course that familiarizes entering students with the academic and social life at Morehouse College.
Supervised by the Freshman Dean, this program begins several days before Morehouse officially opens each fall (during which freshmen receive class assignments) and extends throughout the academic year.
Freshmen take part in a full schedule of informative sessions designed to ease their assimilation into the Morehouse community. The program also includes many events that allow participants to become acquainted with one another, upperclassmen and faculty.
Students must earn a P (or "pass" grade) in each semester of Freshman Orientation to qualify for graduation.
