Ed Gordon Brings Daddy's Promise To Morehouse

Years spent reporting the news certainly gives famed journalist Ed Gordon perspective. He has interviewed everyone from Whitney Houston and Halle Berry to Presidents and Presidential candidates. He was also the first to conduct a live sit-down interview with OJ Simpson following his infamous trial and aquittal. Besides his frank and impactful work on radio and television, when Gordon decided, two years ago, to pen an article concerning something close to his heart for Essence Magazine, he wrote about his views on the special relationship between a father and daughter. He was inspired being the father of a teenage daughter himself.

The movie begins when loser, drop out Jerry Shaw returns to his apartment to find it filled with military weapons, fertilizer bombs and other assortments of various terrorist goodies. A mysterious female voice with access to every network or remote operated piece of technology guides him to safety away from a hard-ass FBI agent (Billy Bob Thorton), and a high ranking government investigator (Rosario Dawson).

The Maroon Tiger football team’s second half collapse left fans stunned as they departed Columbus, Georgia in Oct. 11 Tuskegee/Morehouse classic. Tuskegee University dominated the third and fourth quarters enabling them to defeat the Maroon Tigers 42-27.
