The Morehouse College centers and institutes support and enhance classroom instruction while also contributing in areas such as research, student development and public service. The work being conducted at these centers and institutes touches the lives of people in the Morehouse community and throughout the world.
The Leadership Center at Morehouse College
The Leadership Center at Morehouse College, established in 1995 with a generous grant from The Coca-Cola Foundation, was created to reflect the ideal of the Beloved Community embraced by former Morehouse College President Benjamin E. Mays, Howard Thurman, Martin Luther King Jr. and other distinguished Morehouse alumni.
Corella and Bertram F. Bonner Office of Community Service
The Bonner Office of Community Service seeks to utilize its resources to develop and encourage volunteerism. It is our wish to perpetuate a culture of service on our campus that will strengthen our resolve to be accountable as leaders, with the desire to be stewards of positive social change.
Andrew Young Center for International Affairs
The Center was established at Morehouse College in 1993 as the Center for International Studies. It was renamed the Andrew Young Center for International Affairs in a ceremony held in March 1998. The Center has as its mission the globalization of the College's academic programs, curricula, activities and the preparation of students for service in the world community.
