The Easy Refund Card
At Morehouse College

Beginning in the Fall 2006, Morehouse College will be changing the way that students receive financial aid and tuition refunds. Morehouse has partnered with HigherOne, a financial services company, to bring a new method of refund disbursement to the campus.

Financial aid and tuition refunds (*where applicable*) will be disbursed to students via a HigherOne Easy Refund Card. With this new service, refunds will be delivered in the manner that the students choose – MasterCard/debit card, electronic transfer, or paper check.

We are excited about this opportunity to provide students a choice on how to receive their refunds. Even if they do not receive financial aid, they may be eligible to receive a refund from Morehouse College. For example, if a student drops a class during add/drop period or has an overpayment on his account, he may be eligible for a refund.

ALL STUDENTS MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Make sure that Morehouse College has your CORRECT mailing address and correct Morehouse post office box! If you are not sure that we have your correct information, check your address online through TigerNet. If the information is incorrect, please make your corrections online at that time.

NOTE: If we do not have your correct address, you will NOT receive the Easy Refund Card. The new Easy Refund Card will be mailed to the student’s post office box on file at the College. Therefore, if your address is incorrect, you will not receive your refund check when you expect it. We encourage ALL students to verify the accuracy of their mailing addresses online.

2. Beginning in early August, students will receive a HigherOne Easy Refund Card in their post office box. The card will arrive in an envelope with the text “Important Refund Disbursement Information” printed on the front of the envelope. PLEASE HOLD ONTO THIS CARD! Whenyou receive your card, you will need toactivate it online. To activate your card, go to www.EasyRefundCard.com. If you do not activate it, you will NOT receive a refund. During card activation, you will choose how you wish to receive your refund money. If you want to have FASTER access to your refunds, simply choose to haveyour refund deposited directly into your HigherOne Account. You are notrequired to open a HigherOne debit account, however, you must go online and make a choice for your preferred
method of payment (debit card, electronic transfer, or paper check).

3.
