Morehouse College offers degree programs that embody a coherent course of study that is compatible with its stated mission.

The Morehouse mission statement states:

“Founded in 1867 and located in Atlanta, Georgia, Morehouse is an academic community dedicated to teaching, scholarship and service, and the continuing search for truth as a liberating force. As such, the College offers instructional programs in three divisions - Business and Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science and Mathematics.”   The divisions contain the following academic departments:

The College ensures that the curriculum is coherent and is based upon fields of study appropriate to higher education through a Comprehensive Program Review Process, including an external review by experts in the field (see Standard 2.5), as well the review of all curricular changes by the Curriculum and Educational Policy Committee.
