My Experience with Project Identity

Being a part of Project Identity for the past five years has made a huge impact on me academically as well as developing as a young man. The program not only exposed me to various activities that my high school could not offer such as; leadership development workshops, SAT Prep programs, but showed me firsthand what a college student goes through on a daily basis. By being around positive young college students, it challenged me to better myself and grow as a man.

I’m currently a freshman at Morehouse College and by using the skills I learned in Project Identity, I am having a successful year. I’m using critical thinking in my classes, I’m more organized, and I am giving back to the community by devoting my time to help high school students who are struggling in certain areas. Project Identity is a great program for any student to participate in if he is seeking to be polished and become that diamond he is.
