ATLANTA (March 28, 2012) – Pastor Olu Brown of Impact Church and Dr. Lawrence E. Carter, Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, invite the Atlanta community to celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 8, at 10:00 A.M. at the MLK International Chapel, Morehouse College campus, 830 Westview Drive SW Atlanta, GA 30314. The worship experience is open to the public; with pre-worship activities beginning at 9:00 A.M. register today by visiting (www.impactdcd.org). All registrants will be entered into the 2012 Easter Gas Card Giveaway. Doors to the MLK International Chapel will open at 9:30 A.M. and the worship experience will begin at 10:00 A.M. All Impact Church worship experiences are come as you are.


In conjunction with the 27th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. College of Ministers & Laity (www.mlkchapel.com) the Easter worship experience will include performances by Angie Stone, Kathleen Bertrand & Cori Lamont featuring the Impact Church Praise Team. Attendees visiting Impact Church for the first time will have an opportunity to experience the OMG Photo Booth for photos, live music, the Impact Church social media booth, the NxT-G youth ministry and additional information about how Impact Church is “doing church differently.” Guests are invited to arrive early for pre-worship activities, to enjoy the fun festivities and participate in the drawings.


Established in 2007, Impact Church is committed to sharing Christ’s love in ways that are relevant to everyday life and help its members recognize their God-given potential. Impact Church accomplishes these goals through a spirit-filled worship experience that incorporates contemporary music, multimedia and other bold, creative experiences. Impact Church has established itself as a pillar in the community, reaching persons who have had little or no experience with church in their life.


Sharing its core values of prayer, community and economic development, compassion, honesty and service, Impact Church utilizes social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook and the video-sharing service Vimeo to bring awareness to community events, world issues and to raise funds toward disaster relief (Impact Church - Blood: Water Project).
