Maroon Tiger Marching Band Performs for the First Time Since Bus Accident
ATLANTA, November 6, 2009- A week after that horrific bus accident on I-75 South last weekend, the Maroon Tiger Marching Band will perform. The band is scheduled to perform during half time and the second half of the game as the Maroon Tiger Football team goes head to head with Miles College in the last football game of the season. Morehouse will have home-field advantage during the game that will take place at B.T. Harvey Stadium at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 7.

Atlanta University Center Schools Join Hands in the 2009 United Way Campaign

Morehouse College Breast Cancer Walk Celebrates 10 Years
Atlanta, September 24, 2009 – For 10 years the men of Morehouse have been lacing up to stomp out breast cancer, resulting in hundreds of men, walking dozens of miles to raise thousands of dollars for breast cancer research. The two-mile walk will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009. It will begin at the historic Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel on the Morehouse College Campus. Among those participating will be the world famous Morehouse Glee Club, who will serenade the walkers, and the Morehouse College ROTC.
