Grammy Award-Winning Gospel Artist
ATLANTA, January 12, 2004 – She has performed for Presidents and brought fans from all walks of life to tears. Now, the incomparable Yolanda Adams brings her soulful, platinum-plus voice to the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel for An Evening of Inspiration.
As part of Morehouse College’s 137th Founder’s Week celebrations, Yolanda Adams will perform for one night only, Friday, February 20, 2004 at 8:00 p.m.
Adams’ performance highlights the College’s new Church Music Concentration, an addition to the school’s academic curriculum. The Church Music Concentration is designed to educate students on practical issues in church music, gospel and hymn improvisation, theological perspectives and studies in modern liturgies.
