Letter to Supporters

The following is a letter sent to friends and supporters of the Howard Thurman Papers Project. It is placed on this web page for those who may not have received it. After the initial mailing we received a substantial number of returned letters because of address changes. The decision was made to cease the mailing process until the mailing list is updated. During the interim we want you to be abreast of what is going on and be able to reach us.

If you would like to be placed on our mailing list send a post card to:

This letter comes as an update to friends and supporters of the Howard Thurman Papers Project. It has been eight years since the project began at Colgate Rochester Divinity School; and with those eight years have come many accomplishments, a great deal of hard work and a considerable number of changes. First, we are pleased to announce that we have a new home! The Howard Thurman Papers Project is now part of the Morehouse College Leadership Center, a larger initiative launched by President Walter E. Massey. The mailing address is The Howard Thurman Papers Project, Morehouse College/Sale Hall, Unit 140067, 830 Westview Drive, S. W., Atlanta, GA 30314-3773. Our new telephone number is (404) 681-2800 extension 3155. The fax number is (404) 614-8569. You may also reach us through e-mail at hthurman@morehouse.edu.
