Health Careers Pre-Dental Society 
The Office of Health Professions sponsors the Health Careers/Pre-Dental Society. The society serves as a forum for students interested in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and other health-related careers. This student led society provides information to students about health careers, stimulates interest about the health professions, engages in community service projects and encourages academic excellence. 

Alpha Epsilon Delta – The Health Preprofessional Honor Society - Georgia Delta Chapter 
Alpha Epsilon Delta is the only national preprofessional honor society. It was founded in 1926 and is one of the 57 members of the Association of College Honor Societies. The benefits of membership in Alpha Epsilon Delta include public recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement in pre-health education, an opportunity to be a part of a national group of students interested in medicine and other related fields, and an opportunity to participate in chapter and national activities that will broaden the members’ intellectual interest in the health field.

Thomas J. Blocker Pre-freshman Summer Science Program for Pre-health Students 
This program assists with the rigors of transitioning from high school to a challenging college curriculum. The demanding course schedule is augmented with field trips and motivational seminars.
