Joy White

Joy White brings over 11 years of experience to her post as Associate General Counsel, where she helps manage the operations of the Office of General Counsel and Compliance with primary responsibility for contracts, litigation and compliance.  Ms. White also serves as the Deputy Compliance & Ethics Officer with responsibility for ensuring the development and reinforcement of a compliance culture at the College, including primary responsibility for overseeing Title IX, institutional research compliance issues, and all compliance matters affecting Morehouse College. 

Ms. White is a highly skilled civil litigator and businesswoman with a proven track record of providing meaningful and strategic legal advice to companies and organizations of all sizes ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations in a variety of industries, including, hospitality, educational institutions, transportation, healthcare, real estate, and financial institutions. 

As a proud Spelman College alumna (c/o 02’), Ms. White received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, summa cum laude, before continuing on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee.
