Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)
The Office of Student Financial Aid is working diligently
to assist students and parents in identifying all of the possible
resources for financing an education.
With the exception of First-Time New, Transfer and Readmit Students that entered Morehouse College Spring 2007, and received federal loans, ALL ELIGIBLE INCOMING AND CONTINUING STUDENTS MUST APPLY FOR STAFFORD SUBSIDIZED, UNSUBSIDIZED LOANS UNDER FFELP. Once you have selected a lender and completed the Master Promissory Note (MPN); the MPN will be valid from the time you first apply until the time you graduate, unless you change lenders. It is strongly recommended that you remain with the same lender.
Parents must also apply for PLUS Loans under FFELP and this should be done on an annual basis.
