Research @ LRL

The development of new reaction methodologies is crucial to the understanding of chemical reactivity and, as a result, our current ability to synthesize complex organic molecules from simple feedstocks. Our research focuses on this challenge, in particular, as it relates to cross-cutting areas in natural products synthesis, materials science, and reaction catalysis.

  1. New organic polymer materials for solar cell applications

  1. Target-guided synthesis of marine natural products

  1. Transition-metal mediated carbonylation of non-olefinic double bonds

  1. Supported catalyst recovery from chemically inert substrates
