"I was inspired to create “Loo$e Change” after catching my younger brother smoking. The film is a coming-of-age comedy focusing on teens growing up in the age of Obama. The lead character, Omari Jones, 13, is a naïve subway hustler who sells candy to provide extra income for his family. Whether bored, curious, or simply experimenting, Omari & his friends enjoy smoking and it’s all fun and games to them until the whole neighborhood finds out. Omari must then decide how he’s going to shape his future." |
