Summer Internship Opportunities Program
(Application Deadline Date- Midnight February 20, 2006)

The DoD Summer Internship Opportunities Program (SIO) offers eligible undergraduate 
students at HBCUs/MIs an opportunity to enhance their research experiences and understanding
of the role of Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology (SMET) in Department of
Defense (DoD) capabilities. Selected applicants receive $10,000 in financial support during the
7 week summer research experience and internship at a Department of Defense research 
facility. Please encourage your best and brightest students to apply for this enriching opportunity.
