Directions/Parking
Morehouse College is located approximately 1.5 miles west of downtown Atlanta.
The best access to the campus is by car. From I-75/85 go west on I-20 approximately 1.5 miles to Exit 55B Lee St. Make a right onto Lee St. After you pass the first traffic light the street name changes from Lee St. to Westview Drive, but it is the same road. You will see a traffic circle. There will be a brick security station on the other side of the traffic circle. Tell the security person that you are participating in the Walton Symposium and that you want to park. The parking deck is your right. Parking costs $3.
The Symposium will take place in the Nabrit-Mapp-McBay Building at Morehouse. This is the biology building, not the math building. It is on the older part of the campus on a quad. From the parking deck walk north across the campus to the quad (the parking deck is at the south end of Morehouse). Nabrit-Mapp-McBay is a three-story brick building.
Note: If you are approaching downtown Atlanta from the west on I-20, there is no exit for Lee St. Instead use the exit for Lowery Blvd. (formerly Ashby St.). Go left on Lowery Blvd. until West End Ave. and make a right onto West End Ave. Go to the traffic light at Westview Drive and make a left onto Westview Drive, then follow the directions above.
