The Department of Mathematics at Morehouse invites applications for Tenure-Track and Non-Tenure Track faculty positions in mathematics at the Assistant Professor Level for Fall 2010.
Morehouse College is a private liberal arts institution of approximately three thousand undergraduate students. The institution places strong emphasis on quality teaching and research. Applicants who can demonstrate strong teaching and research skills and the willingness to work, advise and mentor undergraduate students are preferred. All applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate courses each semester and direct from one to two students in substantive research efforts. The applicant should hold the doctorate in any area of mathematics and should be able to teach a wide range of undergraduate courses including precalculus, calculus, linear algebra, advanced calculus, and differential equations.
