Define Yourself.
“As a young man preparing for a career in full-time ministry, Morehouse has given me a great legacy to inherit. It’s exciting to follow in the footsteps of Kilgore, Mays and King. When I walk the campus and sit in my religion classes, I am reminded of the importance of values like integrity, respect and honesty.
“Morehouse is preparing me for the future. Whether I am learning in the classroom or serving in the chapel, I am being inspired to be the best. There is a feeling here at Morehouse that I don’t feel anywhere else. It’s an air of expectancy.”
Redefine the World.
“The process of transformation begins with an individual then moves into the world. As a chapel assistant, I have been exposed to a larger network of individuals, had the opportunity to learn the process of preparing major speeches and sermons and, most importantly, come to realize to be great is to serve. It’s not about self, but it’s about the community and world.”
