KRAFT FOODS’ HUDDLE TO FIGHT HUNGER CAMPAIGN TO KICK-OFF AT MOREHOUSE COLLEGE HOMECOMING

Text Message Promotion Part of Campaign to Give 20 Million Meals to Help Feed America

CHICAGO, October 19, 2010−Kraft Foods is sponsoring a Huddle to Fight Hunger text message promotion during the Morehouse College Homecoming game. The campaign is Kraft Foods’ largest branded initiative to fight hunger in America. During the Morehouse game, Kraft Foods will host a special Huddle to Fight Hunger tailgate tent featuring interactive activities, music, as well as ticket and Kraft Foods Snack Pack giveaways.

The Morehouse event is part of a larger campaign to support HBCU Classics. Kraft Foods also will sponsor the Southern Heritage Classic in Memphis and Howard University’s Homecoming game in Washington, D.C.

Consumers can participate by texting HBCU and their zip code to 71717 (one text per person and message and data rates may apply). Every dollar donated translates into seven meals to feed the hungry and Kraft will donate the proceeds to local food banks that work with Feeding America.

The maximum donation from all digital and social media activities is four million meals.
Kraft’s goal is to give 20 million meals to Feeding America, the nation’s leading hunger relief organization.
