Leonard Miller ’83 Talks to Jay Leno About His Book and Career in Auto Racing
Racing has always been a part of Leonard T. Miller’s life. The 1983 Morehouse graduate watched his father, Leonard W. Miller, field auto racing teams, including the first run by an African American in the Indianapolis 500.
In the 1990s, Miller and his father came together to form Miller Racing Group (MRG), which has run teams in NASCAR, ARCA and Formula BMW racing series. Miller, who also is a pilot with United Airlines, talks about the trials and tribulations of being a minority in racing in his book, Racing While Black.
