Youth Entrepreneurship Summer Camp (YES) Program
The YES Camp is a unique experience offered to high school students to expose
them to the opportunities associated with entrepreneurship. This two week camp
is designed to reach 20 high school students (10 & 11 grades) to introduce them
to the concept of entrepreneurship. The YES Camp will inspire and encourage
young people to consider entrepreneurship as a career choice.
The YES Camp develops in students the passion and skills to succeed in the
marketplace and in life by:
- Stimulating economic thinking skills
- Encouraging creative, intelligent risk-taking
- Providing practical business experience, and
- Instilling independence and personal responsibility
Participants will be encourage to think creatively, turn ideas into actions by starting a new business, developing an innovation for an existing business or solving a problem that improves the lives of others.
