October 23, 2007 -- The National Collegiate Athletic Association has ranked the Morehouse Maroon Tigers #8 in the Southeast Region among Division II football teams.

The rankings are assigned by an NCAA regional committee and are based on overall win-loss record, strength of schedule and record against other schools in the region. Morehouse has a record of 6-2 (3-2 SIAC) and is in fifth place in the SIAC.

This is the first time that Morehouse has been ranked in the region since the rankings began several years ago.
