November 16, 2006 – ATLANTA – Three Maroon Tigers were named to the SIAC All-Conference Team announced today by conference officials.
The All-SIAC Team is voted on solely by conference head coaches. No coach is permitted to vote for his own players.
Wide receiver Ravenell DuPree and offensive lineman Michael Ray Robinson earned First Team honors and defensive back Robert Harris earned Second Team honors.
DuPree, a senior health and physical education major from Atlanta, grabbed 58 receptions on the year, the most of any Morehouse receiver. His 5.27 receptions-per-game was second in the SIAC behind Jacoby Jones of Lane College.
Robinson, a senior health and physical education major from Forest Park, GA, was a major component of the Morehouse offense that led the SIAC in Total Offense for most of the season.
Harris, a senior business administration major from Murfreesboro, TN, led the Maroon Tigers with 78 tackles and was fourth in the SIAC. He was a bright spot on a defensive team that was depleted by multiple injuries and finished last in the conference in Total Defense.
