September 26, 2009 – ATLANTA – With a perfect score of 15 points, the Flying Maroon Tigers cruised to a clean sweep at the Morehouse Invitational Cross Country Meet, winning the top five spots, and eight of the top 10.

Tuskegee was a distant second, with 64, points; Tennessee State was third, with 68 points and Stillman brought up the rear with 91 points.

Noble Swint set the pace for Morehouse, leading nearly the entire race. The senior from Detroit covered the 8K course in 29:26.60.

Abraham Kiprotich brought it home in second place, at 29:49.66. Karlton Mitchell grabbed third, at 30.07.96. Michael Vinson came in fourth, at 30:15.85 and Dreyfus Clemons completed the Morehouse scoring, in a time of 30:43.41.
