September 13, 2008 – MEMPHIS – Morehouse cross country runner Noble Swint was named SIAC Runner of the Week for his outstanding running at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic.

In the meet that featured 30 teams from across the nation, Swint set the pace for Morehouse, finishing first among Maroon Tigers and 54th overall. Swint’s time of 27:29.47 in the eight-kilometer race was the third best in the SIAC this season.

Morehouse finished 15th.

Abraham Kiprotich crossed the line 64th overall and second for Morehouse, in a time of 27:47.13.

Michael Vinson finished third for Morehouse and 87th overall, in a time of 28:32.81, and Tony Reynolds took fourth for Morehouse and 213th overall, in 34:51.07.

The Maroon Tigers will travel to Huntsville, AL, Saturday, to compete at Alabama A&M.
