October 22, 2004 – ATLANTA – In addition to winning the SIAC cross country championship, the Morehouse Maroon Tigers ran away from the pack with the All-SIAC scholastic honors. Morehouse won the All-Academic Team award and three Maroon Tigers were named to the Individual All-SIAC Academic Team.

Sporting a hefty GPA of 3.49 among its top seven runners, Morehouse was the class of the field. Sophomore Ross McMillan was tops in the conference with a GPA of 3.96. The sophomore Biology major from Tallahassee finished fourth overall in the cross country championship.

Teammates and Business Administration majors Cameron Dayne (3.82) and Jahmar Rutherford (3.71) were also named to the Individual Academic Team.
