Stacey Y. Woods
Mrs. Woods is the Senior Paralegal in the Office of General Counsel for Morehouse College. She provides legal support to the General Counsel involving contract review, document requests and all general legal matters that flow through the Office of General Counsel.
Prior to joining Morehouse College, Mrs. Woods was a Senior Paralegal at Morris Manning and Martin LLP in Atlanta, GA for seven years. There, she specialized in insurance and commercial litigation involving document intense cases. Prior to joining Morris Manning and Martin, she was a Senior Paralegal at Fisher and Phillips, LLP in Atlanta, GA for three years. While at Fisher and Phillips she specialized in labor and employment litigation involving higher education institutions and corporations. Prior to Fisher and Phillips, Mrs. Woods was at Kirkland and Ellis in Chicago, IL for eight years. During her time at Kirkland and Ellis she worked on class actions and large document intense cases.
Mrs. Woods received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL and her Paralegal Certification from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She is currently a candidate for the Paralegal Studies Masters of Professional Studies at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
