Sheila B. Jacobs is the Associate Vice President for Business and Finance/Director of Budgets for Morehouse College. She is responsible for the development and execution of the College’s $98 million annual operating budget. In this role, she interprets and articulates budgetary/fiscal policies and procedures and monitors budgeted expenditure requests to ensure compliance with policies, Federal and State regulations.
Prior to joining Morehouse College in 1997, Ms. Jacobs held positions at NationsBank, First American Bank of Georgia and United Family Life Insurance Company. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Industrial Relations from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Spelman College, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association.
Ms. Jacobs is a native of Atlanta and enjoys contemporary jazz, the performing arts, and working out. She believes in hard work, commitment to family, and giving back.
