What Materials
Can You Recycle?
- Files Folders, File Cards, File Stock
- Envelopes
(including junk mail)
- Copy Paper (all colors,
all types)
(Paper
clips, stables, rubber bands, and tape do
not need to be removed)
- Copy Paper Wrappers
- Fax Paper
- Colored Construction Paper
- Poster Paper and
Poster Board
- Computer Paper
- Post-it Notes and register rolls
- Brown Envelopes
- Magazines, Journals, and Brochures (glossy
and mat paper)
- Newspaper
- Glue Bound Manuals
- Shredded Paper
- Books, Catalogs (hard and soft
bound)
- Telephone Books
- Cardboard (must be flattened)

not recycle with paper?
Please do not place these items in
the Paper recycling
cans.
- Plastics, Glass or Metal
- Plastic bags
- Trash (pens, pencils, 3-ring binders,
Styrofoam
packing, Bubble wrap)
- Food Waste or Food Containers
(cups,
plates, pizza boxes)
- Overhead Transparencies
- Printer Toner Container, Ink Cartridges
