Howard Hughes Medical Institute Program

Eligibility

Requirements:

Morehouse College Student who has completed at least one (1) semester of the sophomore year
Major in one of the sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, psychology)
Recommendation from a faculty mentor with whom you will conduct research
An overall GPA of 3.2 or higher, and a GPA of 3.0 or higher in major (Official transcript required)
Participation in the summer research program at Morehouse Residence on campus during the summer session
Presentation of research at the Division of Science and Mathematics Interdisciplinary Conference. (The Frederick E. Mapp Symposium research forum)
