Maureen Dinges currently teaches courses in Professional Communication, Principles of Speech Communication, and Speech Communication for Professions and Careers.  Her research interests include learning styles, emotional intelligence, psychological androgyny, communication apprehension, and critical thinking. She is a member of the Morehouse College Student Welfare Committee, Morehouse College Judicial Review Board, and Morehouse College Board of Trustees.  She is the Morehouse College Advisor to the Atlanta University Catholic Center.  Dr. Dinges is also a board-certified speech-language pathologist. She is a communication and medical consultant and has conducted numerous training seminars and presented programs both regionally and nationally. Topics include traumatic brain injury, learning disabilities, aphasia, dementia, apraxia, and other neurological disorders. Her membership affiliations include the National Communication Association, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Political Action Committee, Commission on Communication and Aging, Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Voice Interest Group of Georgia, and the Tracheotomy/Ventilator Interest Group of Georgia.
