E. Delores Stephens teaches World Literature, Shakespeare, and British literature survey courses. Her areas of scholarship and research include women's fiction, Caribbean literature, and biography. Currently, she holds membership in the College Language Association (CLA), Langston Hughes Society, Charles Chesnutt Society, and Alice Lovelace Society. She has given presentations recently at CLA conventions, Southern Regional Honors Council conventions, and the International Conference on Caribbean Literature. She is chapter sponsor of Upsilon Nu, Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, is a member of the Committee on Student Programs in the department, and serves on the B.R. Brazeal Awards Committee. She is currently at work on a collection of essays.
