Pedagogical Interests / Courses Taught
Pedagogy--The development of a research-supportive curriculum at undergraduate institutions can be critical for the success of its students as well as its faculty alike. Towards this end, projects both inside the classroom and research laboratory are in progress. Included among these are a laboratory project bridging the STEM fields of biology, chemistry, and physics, a year-two organic chemistry laboratory course in purification and analysis using classical and modern spectroscopic techniques, as well as the implementation of a case-study model to foster dialogue amongst students of science in the introductory classroom.
