I have heard that a person has to be “certified” in order
to teach in a public school. What does that mean?

Every state requires public school teachers to meet a set of educational,

state to state. The Educator Certification Section of the Georgia

for Georgia schools. Please visit their homepage for current information
on teacher certification.
