UPCOMING ACTIVITIES FOR 2000 AT MOREHOUSE COLLEGE

ATLANTA, December 13, 1999 - The following is a list of major events and activities scheduled to take place at Morehouse College in 2000:

• The eighth annual Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, A King Celebration concert, will take place on Thursday and Friday, January 13 and 14.
• The College will hold it's 133rd Founders Week celebration Feb. 10-13, including the Founders' Day Convocation on Feb. 10, and the 12th annual "A Candle in the Dark" Gala on Feb. 12.
• Annual Family Weekend also will take place Feb. 10-13.
• The world-renowned Morehouse College Glee Club will hold reunion festivities Feb. 10-13, and the groups' annual Spring
• Tour will take place on Feb. 13.
• Spiritual Awareness Week begins March 27.
• The annual Prospective Student Seminar will be held March 29- April 2.
• The Morehouse College Jazz Festival will be held April 5-7.
• Reunion Weekend will be held May 19-21.
• Baccalaureate exercises will be held May 20.
• Commencement exercises will be held May 21.

One of the most distinguished institutions of higher education, Morehouse College is the nation's only historically black, private liberal arts college for men.
