Morehouse College Employee of the Month/Year Program The Morehouse College Employee of the Month/Year program was reintroduced in April 1998. The program is designed to raise employee morale; encourage involvement in the activities of the institution and community; give special recognition to individuals that are making a contribution to the institution and community; enhance the College's appreciation of persons dedicated to making Morehouse a better place for its constituents and to serve as an incentive for employees demonstrating positive customer service. Nominations may come from fellow staff members, students, and faculty. Eligibility for Nomination All full-time staff members, excluding members of the selection committee and those who have received the award within a given fiscal year, are eligible for nomination for Employee of the Month. Nominees must have been employed full-time by Morehouse College for a minimum of one year. In addition, nominees must be in good standing in the areas of performance and attendance within their respective unit. At the end of each year (which will run from May 1 to April 30), the twelve Employee of the Month selections are considered for the Employee of the Year award. No other nominations will be accepted. Nomination Procedures Nomination forms may be obtained from the Office of Human Resources, or by clicking the link, Employee of the Month Nomination Form. Nomination forms should be submitted no later than the 20th of each month, for consideration for the following month. Nominees that are not selected as the Employee of the Month will remain eligible for consideration two months following the original submittal date of their nomination. The nominees must demonstrate the attributes outlined in the Colleges Leadership 4.0 initiative (Action, Ability, Attitude, and Articulation) as described in the following criteria:
