Public Health Awareness Conference
NEW - Conference Itinerary
The Division of Science and Mathematics of Morehouse College invites you to participate in the first Division Conference featuring the 21st Mapp Symposium and the 19th Annual Public Health Awareness Conference and Recruitment Fair April 7, 2009. We request your participation on April 7th for the Graduate Professional Recruitment Fair. This event is a collaborative effort of the departments and support programs in the Division of Science and Mathematics. The Conference theme is “Integrating Science, Technology & Health: Research Focused on Advancing Society.”
The purpose of the conference is to showcase the research of our students and to expose them to opportunities to pursue advanced degrees in graduate and health professional school programs. In addition to research presentations by students, and a keynote speaker, the Conference consists of a panel discussion on careers in research and the health professions and recruitment fair.
We hope that your institution will participate in this year’s conference and along with recruitment professionals from other graduate and professional schools to assist in making our students more aware of post-baccalaureate opportunities.

Directions:
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is located
15 minutes from Morehouse College with a variety of transportation
options available.
When traveling northbound on 75/85, driving from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (12 miles), or traveling on Interstate 20 west and eastbound: Take 75/85 North, take the right-hand exit 248-C (International Blvd.). Turn left onto International Blvd. Turn right at the third traffic light onto Peachtree Center Avenue. Hyatt Regency Atlanta's Motor Lobby entrance is one block on the left.
When Traveling via MARTA from the Airport:
Take the northbound train to the Peachtree Center Station
stop, one stop north of the Five Points transfer station.
Exit the train and take the escalator up towards Peachtree Center Mall.
Once inside the mall, follow the signs to the covered walkway into the
hotel.
