AUC Public Health Association
PHSI supports the AUC Public Health Association (PHA), a student lead organization that supports extracurricular public health related activities. This student organization is charted on the campuses of Morehouse College, Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University. Members of the AUC PHA organize trips to programs/schools and agencies focusing on public health, sponsor interdisciplinary seminars, workshops on current public health issues, and participate in numerous community service projects (e.g., Cancer Walk, AIDS Walk) Members of the AUC PHA, in conjunction with the PHSI provide quality programming throughout the academic year to increase campus awareness of PHSI, public health issues and to attract students to acquire the minor in public health and choose public health careers.
