Research
Morehouse College is one of the few undergraduate institutions to conduct research in leadership. Leadership Center research involves faculty, students and scholars-in-residence in data collection, analysis and publication of papers on interdisciplinary issues. The Center holds seminars and produces scholarly resources, including newsletters, books and a forthcoming professional journal. Our strong research focus and infrastructure expose developing leaders to world-class scholars and their advanced research techniques.
The
Howard Thurman Papers Project (HTPP) was established to publish sermons, essays, letters and other writings of Howard Washington Thurman – a towering figure in 20th century American religious and cultural life. It is the nation’s largest documentary editing project on an African American religious figure. Over 58,000 of Thurman’s correspondence, letters and unpublished or out of print writings are being researched and compiled. The first volume
