About Morehouse

Strategic Initiatives

The Values Project - The Morehouse College Institutional Values Project is a multi-year project, the focus of which is to develop a sense of community where ethical behavior is exhibited and the individual is treated fairly. During the first year of the project, called "The Year of Dialogue," faculty, staff and students will engage in dialogue about the values considered important to the community and necessary for the achievement of our vision of becoming one of the best liberal arts colleges in the nation—period. And the college of choice for African American males.

Student First Initiative - The Student First Initiative was an outgrowth of the Strategic Planning effort at Morehouse College during the academic year.

Tolerance & Diversity Task Force - The Task Force on Tolerance and Diversity, chaired by Dr. Walter Earl Fluker, was developed with the purpose of creating policy recommendations for the President’s Office in the areas of strategic diversity and violence prevention in an academic environment.
